This notice explains what information Z Assorted Works receives through this website, how optional advertising measurement works, and how you can control it.
Effective 3 August 2026
Who we are
Z Assorted Works operates this website and provides MSS, custom software and community services in Australia. Questions, privacy requests or complaints can be sent through our contact form or raised by calling 07 3543 2099 during our standard operating hours.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address, organisation (if provided), enquiry topic and message you submit. We also process a short-lived email verification code to confirm the address before sending the enquiry.
We use this information to verify, respond to and manage your enquiry; provide requested information, quotes or services; maintain appropriate business records; protect the website; and meet applicable legal obligations. Please do not include sensitive information unless it is necessary and you are comfortable providing it.
Information needed to operate the site
Our hosting and security services may process standard technical information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser or device details, and error or security logs. This is used to deliver the website, maintain reliability, investigate misuse and protect our services. The site also requests its display fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the technical information needed to serve those files.
Optional advertising measurement
With your permission, we load Google Ads measurement tag AW-18275350133. Google may then use cookies, local storage, IP address, device and browser information, page activity, ad-click identifiers and related signals to measure advertising performance and conversions. Google may process this information outside Australia.
Optional Google Ads technology is blocked unless you choose “Accept optional cookies”. Choosing “Reject optional cookies” does not limit access to the website. We store your choice in your browser's local storage so we can respect it on later visits; this preference is necessary to remember your decision and is not used for advertising.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Rejecting after previously accepting tells Google that consent is denied, removes Google-related first-party cookies that the site can access, and reloads the page without the Google tag. Your browser settings can also remove stored website data. Third-party data already held by Google is governed by Google's policies and available controls.
Sharing, retention and security
We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, email, hosting and advertising measurement, and where required by law. We do not sell contact-form details.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, business records, disputes and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
You may ask about personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
